redflagflying: I am not anti-religion per se, but I do think that religion can and has been used as a tool of the bourgeoisie. I don’t recall Jesus telling his disciples to run for office or to take dominion over all aspects of political life. Besides, a lot of what Jesus and Muhammad taught is more in tune with socialism than with capitalism and imperialism.
